The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent regulator of health and adult social care services in England. They make sure health and Social care services provide people with safe, effective, compassionate, high-quality care and encourage care services to improve.
By law, all GP practices in England must make sure that the care and treatment they provide meet national standards of quality and safety. The CQC registers practices if they can show that they are meeting standards. If GP practices are not registered with the CQC, they will not be able to provide services.
Granville House Medical Centre has registered with the CQC and outlined below is our Statement of Purpose:

To offer timely, easy access to assessment when people are unwell, providing consultations, examination, diagnosis and treatment where appropriate and referring to other providers where this is in the best interest of the patient.

To continue to provide holistic care where cure is no longer possible by working with the patient, their families and extended primary health and palliative care teams.

To reflect on the care we provide, actively responding to complaints and suggestions regarding our services and to seek feedback on an on-going basis.
