Musculoskeletal Specialist
Michelle Desouza
Ana is a member of the Chorley Central Primary Care Network MSK team. As an experienced Specialist MSK Physiotherapist/Team lead who will provide specialist care for patients with musculoskeletal problems. Appointments are available via reception.
Associate Psychological Practitioner (APP)
Jacon Harosh is our Associate Psychological Practitioner whose aim is to normalise mental health, reduce stigma and increase resiliency by
providing support and education about mental health and wellbeing. Appointments can be made via Reception.
Community Midwives
| The midwife is available for advice throughout the pregnancy and early post natal period – when she first sees you she will give you a contact telephone number. You should also be given a practice leaflet ‘Now You Are Pregnant’. The midwife holds an ante-natal clinic at the surgery every Thursday morning. |
Community Nurses
| District Nurses – although based in Coppull we work closely with the district nurses to provide nursing care for patients requiring treatment at home. They run a dressing clinic at Railway Road Clinic on a Tuesday and a Friday morning (you must telephone first to arrange an appointment) 01772 644668. |
Health Visitors
| Health Visitors – based at Coppull the local health visitor is available to discuss all aspects of child health & care. She can also be contacted through the clinic on Railway Road. |
Attached Staff
| Phlebotomist – twice a week a phlebotomist is available to take blood tests – the phlebotomist is now working from Adlington Clinic on Railway Road – at the time of booking your appointment you will be informed if it is the phlebotomist you will be seeing and whether your appointment is here at the surgery or at the clinic. |
